Thank you to everyone who dressed up and donated to Children In Need in 10J. The children all looked 'Spot'astic! 

Our Bog Babies

We have been learning about the book The Bog Baby.

Last week the children designed their own bog babies and described them using expanded noun phrases.

Maths Morning

This week in Maths, we have been learning about 2d and 3d shapes. Today, we used all the knowledge we've gained, to take part in different practical activities.

We did the following:

1. Made 3d shape structures.
2. Added the number of sides together and wrote number sentences.
3. Sorted and named 3d shapes.
4. Made 2d shapes on geo-boards.
5. Made repeating patterns with 2d shapes.

We were very busy having lots of fun, and before we knew it, it was lunchtime!

RE - The Creation Story

In RE, we have been learning about The Creation Story and about St Francis, who Christians believe was very kind to animals. We thought about how we were kind to animals and made some paper plate animals. Mrs Jones was very impressed with our creativity! Here are some pictures to show what happened in The Creation Story and some of our paper plate animals.

Here I Am!

Summer homework! 

Over the summer the children had to complete some homework for our new topic called 'Here I Am'. In our topic lessons we will be learning all about our local area and where we live in the world. The children made some fantastic models of their homes and some booklets telling us all about them and where they live which we shared in our school assembly.
